Every corner of Lake Garda has its own soul, and over the years I've had the good fortune to tell the stories of many. I've photographed weddings at Grand Hotel Fasano in Gardone Riviera, amid the timeless elegance of its lakefront halls, and onIsola del Garda, where the villa suspended between water and sky turns every shot into something unrepeatable. I've followed couples at Cascina San Zago in Salò, set among the olive trees, and at the Splendido Bay Luxury Spa Resort in Padenghe, with its refined beauty facing directly onto the lake. Closer to home, at Altaripa in Desenzano del Garda, and then among the hills of Valtènesi: Villa Avanzi and Cantina Bottenago in Polpenazze, where the vineyards slope down toward the water, and Conti Thun in Puegnago, among the rows of a wine resort that feels like both celebration and intimacy.
